A skincare routine doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive to deliver real results. The foundation is consistency with a handful of proven actives.
Morning Routine
Start with a gentle cleanser to remove overnight oils, followed by a vitamin C serum for brightening and antioxidant protection. Layer a lightweight moisturizer and finish with SPF 30+ — non-negotiable, even indoors.
Evening Routine
Double cleanse if you wear makeup: an oil cleanser to dissolve product, followed by a gentle foam or gel cleanser. This is the time for actives — retinol, AHAs, or BHAs — followed by a richer moisturizer to support overnight repair.
SPF is the single most evidence-backed skincare product that exists. Nothing else comes close for anti-aging.
What to Avoid
Over-exfoliation is the most common mistake. Limit physical and chemical exfoliants to two or three times per week maximum. More is not better — it disrupts the skin barrier and causes sensitivity.
