The shape of your nails is just as important as the color or design you choose. The right shape can visually elongate short fingers, balance wide nail beds, or complement the natural curve of your nail.
Round
The most low-maintenance shape, following the natural curve of the fingertip. Works well on every hand type, looks clean and professional, and is the least likely to snag or break during everyday tasks.
Squoval
A square nail with lightly filed corners — widely considered the most flattering shape for the majority of hand types. It offers the structural strength of a square tip with the softer, more feminine appearance of an oval.
Almond
Tapered sides meeting in a softly rounded point. Visually elongates the finger and provides an excellent canvas for intricate nail art designs. Requires moderate nail length to achieve the correct proportions.
Coffin / Ballerina
Long nails with straight sides that taper to a flat, squared tip. A dramatic and editorial shape that photographs exceptionally well and offers maximum surface area for nail art.
Stiletto
An extreme taper to a sharp point — bold, fashion-forward, and best achieved with press-ons, acrylics, or hard gel for structural support. Not practical for daily tasks but stunning for editorial and event looks.
